I set this thing up so that I can share my adventures at Oxford. When I was in Vienna I did this by sending out mass emails, and while it was easier to guilt people into responding that way, it felt kind of disorganized and violated my German sense of order. So we're giving this a try. I'm not narcissistic enough to believe that the world needs to know all my thoughts and feelings and activities and what I had for breakfast the day before yesterday (yoghurt), so this will primarily be a vehicle for recording and sharing another chapter of European adventures.
A word on my very pretentious-looking title: it means "to the four corners of the earth" and is the motto of St. Cross College, my college (my house, for all you Harry Potter fans) at Oxford. I thought it was fitting, since I am actually launching myself at one of these aforementioned earthcorners sometime next fall. If I think of a better title, I shall change it. In the meantime, let's all pretend that it's clever.
